What a great story! Watching Jackson and Alexa fall in love after drunkenly getting married in Vegas was wonderful. This had a bit of angst with the fact that you didn't know if the marriage would last since Alexa had said she didn't want to be married. There toward the end my heart broke for both of them, but what a wonderful ending! So good!

Alexa has no desire for a relationship or marriage or anything like that, so waking up married to Jackson, the best friend of her own best friend's fiancé (Reese and Trent from Love in the End Zone), is the last thing she ever wanted. She not only doesn't even remember the wedding or what happened after, but she's not about to stay married to him, gorgeous though he is. But for some reason, Jackson absolutely refuses to get divorced. How is that going to work? Stay together even though she has no desire to be married, or divorce against Jackson's wishes, and see it all splashed out in the tabloids?
Jackson has always felt a connection with Alexa, but never did anything about it. Now that they're married, even though they don't remember the actual wedding, he's not about to let her go without a chance at getting to know her and fan that connection into a flame. It won't be easy, but it's worth it if Alexa and he can get over their own baggage about marriage and divorce.
I loved Alexa and Jackson! I love how they started off as friends, and fell in love, albeit slightly unwillingly on Alexa's part. Jackson is beyond swoony with his sweet and cocky ways, and he was the perfect guy to coax Alexa into accepting love. Their story is heartfelt, so sexy, and witty fun. Can't wait for more footballers falling love now.

Jackson Cartwright and Alexa Barton were doomed the moment their best friends got together. Sure, things sure escalated from friendly flirting to being married while drunk in Vegas, but like Alexa's mom told her, you cannot fight fate.
I really enjoyed going on this journey with them as they manage through being close proximity because their best friends are in love to being suddenly married. A relationship status that neither of them takes very lightly given their history. Alexa did not want to get married because she has seen the havoc a broken heart leaves, and Jackson knows the emotional toll a divorce can take.
I love that Jackson believed in their future together enough for both of them while Alexa struggled to come to terms that she might have to put her guard down around her husband. He is a fantastic cinnamon roll that tries to make them work, but I also love that he stands his ground when Alexa is being too stubborn.
If you are looking for a fun sports romance read with the one of the best alpharolls, look no further than this book. It is Book 2 in the Never Say Never Football Romance series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Married to the Tight End is utterly delightful. Full of the sharp wit and touching moments Carina Rose has become known for, this time around we get Jackson Cartwright and Alexa Barton's whirlwind romance, besties to Trent and Reese from book one, Love in the End Zone. These two were truly a match made in heaven. The way they joke with one another as a clever way to hide any kind of flirtation is just the beginning of what happens when what was supposed to be a way to sneak in a bachelor and bachelorette party for Trent and Reese in Vegas ends up being a drunken night getting married by Elvis himself! And thus starts a push and pull as the new Mr. and Mrs. Cartwright maneuver their new status albeit reluctantly on Alexa's part while Jackson may have finally found the one and he's not letting go.
This easy read features two great characters who bring out the very best in one another and provide plenty of laughs while they try and figure out how to stay married until Trent and Reese's wedding. But it's the underlying attraction for each other that keeps making any decisions about their current situation that much more complicated. And it's those sparks that gave Alexa that needed push to finally see that maybe being Mrs. Jackson Cartwright was as fated as her mother predicted.
Jackson is as sigh-worthy as they come. I loved his insistence that being hitched really should mean something and the way he would do anything to help his new bride, whether it was to help serve customers in her bakery or treat her to the bath of a lifetime, the man is a keeper times one hundred!
And Alexa. The typical wise-cracking best friend, she has a heart of gold when it comes to her loved ones and her confusion and stubborn refusal to see what was right in front of her were thankfully short-lived. Reese definitely helps her see the light but it's Alexa's new Mr. who lays the path to their forever with his kindness, selflessness, and sexy ways. There was no way to resist him, thank goodness! And I need to add that her lack of football knowledge when it came to her husband's life as a tight end only added to her charm and it was fun seeing her finally embrace the game like a good wife should. Those scenes with her utter confusion about football terms were priceless.
This book is a great addition to the growing library of Carina Rose's work and I loved every word. This zero to sixty love story has a tender quality that I really enjoyed, getting to watch two people find their soulmate in the craziest of ways. It's the perfect beach read and I sincerely hope we get more from this football world and the wonderful crew who inhabit it.

He and the MOH enjoyed their time with a drinking game, little did they know they’d wake up bound together for more than just planning the wedding.
Alexa is a strong and independent business woman. She will do anything for the people she cares about. Planning fun for her best friend’s engagement party is the easy part. Especially with the man who’s helping her plan it. She and Jackson have become friends. So After a night of drinking and waking up married, the easy decision is to annul it. But what happens when the man you accidentally married doesn’t believe in divorce?
This book is really cute. I couldn’t wait for these two to get together after seeing them interact in the first book. Jackson was the sweetest. All he wanted was his wife to fall in love with him, and he made her see the wonderful man he was. Alexa didn’t want to give up her independence and I loved that, even if she was a little stubborn sometimes. Definitely recommend.

I've said in many reviews that I'm the dark & twisty sort of girl, but let me tell you, football is one of my biggest happy places to the point that my kitty is actually named after my favorite HOF QB, & has a ton of his own NFL gear LOL, so I LOVED LOVED LOVED Married to the Tight End. It sure didn't hurt that Carina Rose turned the tables on us by giving us the pro football player who wanted it all while the heroine was the one who was difficult about commitment. See, Alexa was the maid of honor for her best friend who was getting married while Jackson was the best man to the groom, so they were all in Vegas for the engagement party, and of course there were drinks involved so Alexa ends up married to Jackson, and she's totally freaked out. However, Jackson is actually happy about it & doesn't want an annulment so he's doing all the right things to prove to her that they could actually have a future together. She's stubborn so it's going to take a lot, but let me tell you, Jackson was all that & a bag of chips at the end of the day but will he get what he wants? To find out (and trust me you want to know), you'll have to hit those one click buttons as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is my first Carina Rose read. This book is an easy read. It had me laughing, swooning, and thoroughly enjoying Jackson and Alexa’s navigating the possibilities. The angst and heat factors are low, but the romance is set to high. A friends to drunkenly married in Vegas oops to lovers who fall in love despite their opposition to marriage. If you need a light hearted easy read…this is it.
Alexa and Jackson are friends because their best friends are engaged. They get along and enjoy one another’s company. There has always been the flicker of heat and interest between them, but never have acted on it.

I really enjoyed this book. Admittedly for a good part of this story I was a bit on the fence about Alexa - but by the end of the book I ended up loving her.
But truthfully Jackson absolutely stole the show in this novel. From the very beginning he was just such a wonderfully written character that just stood above the rest. He was strong when he needed to be but wasn’t afraid in showing his softer side as well. That right there is my absolute kryptonite not only in romance novels in general but the male lead character as well.
Carina is a relatively new author to me and I really hope there are more books to come in this world. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Personally, just wasn't a huge fan of the writing which just tended to drag for a long time and jump around in a way that I didn't care for. The characters didn't come to life for me either, especially Alexa I felt like I didn't know anything about her and her reasoning behind not wanting to be married was just cliche. Same with Jackson, although his character did go a little more into depth, there was just nothing that kept me interested in him. The two of them as a couple--well let's just say they left something to be desired.

I was beyond excited for this book to come out. When I finished love in the end zone I was dying for more and Married to the Tight End delivered! Jackson and Alexa are the bff and best man and maid of honor to Trent and Reese who we met in book 1! An engagement party in Vegas left the friend duo alone for the night and they woke up the next morning with rings on very important fingers!
The friendship foundation was sarcastic and funny and made for such a great base layer of the book as Jackson and Alexa figure out how to deal with their unexpected nuptials! Jackson is as dreamy as they come and I don’t understand how Alexa wasn’t just throwing herself at this good fortune but watching the two was like a tennis match of wits sometimes! I thoroughly enjoyed this duet and as far as sports romances go, this is a top tier one!

Loved this story! Carina, you had me feeling all the feels with this one!
It picked right up where Love in the End Zone left off. (Though it could still be read as a stand alone but the other story is awesome too, so why not read that one first.) What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas didn’t exactly pan out for Jackson and Alexa. The two friends were celebrating their best friend’s engagement in Vegas when they had a bit too much fun and alcohol and woke up wearing wedding bands on their left hands.
Alexa, who loves her independence had vowed never to marry and Jackson, who wanted all the things a happy marriage could bring, had vowed never to divorce after witnessing his parents messy divorce. Will he convince her that fate intervened and they are perfect for each other or will she have her way and get an annulment? Time will tell but the journey to get there is amazing. You won’t want to miss this truly heartwarming little gem. Such a great story.

From the very first page you will fall for Alexa & Jackson.
A business owner, a best friend to Reese and just an overall great person that what Alexa is but when Jackson comes into her life everything changes.
Jackson is a man who is not only loyal to his football team but also to his friends and when Alexa is brought into his life he knows that their is something about her that will keep him there for a very long time.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts but their banter and flirting is such fun to watch. They will have you laughing out loud at times but you will also see how they both can be vulnerable when it comes to each other. Watching them navigate through all the feelings will have you loving them as a couple.

Well Carina Rose has done it again! She outdid herself on Married to the Tight End! Unquestionably my newest favorite of hers! A sports romance that is as sweet as sugar! I couldn’t wait for this book and now that it’s over, I wish I could read it for the first time again!!
Alexa and Jackson have been friends ever since their best friends got together. They’ve always been flirty with each other but one night everything changes for them. Short, sweet magic between the two main characters -- the love match-up was fun to watch develop (although I didn't feel the development was as strong as the first book in this series). I loved the scenes in the bakery shop especially. Of course, I'm a major fan of sports-related romance and they are my escape from stressful days. This one had a bit of angst but mostly made me laugh and cheer on another great match-up with a satisfying ending and a wonderful Epilogue.

Another amazing story by this Author. Jackson and Alexa met due to their best friend being in a relationship. One night in Vegas turned their relationship from friends upside down. Alexa never saw herself married but one night will show her a committed relationship wasn't bad at all. These two spice up this story and love has no choice but to bloom. ❤

What a phenomenal read! Jackson and Alexa are about to rock your world. A night in Vegas turned out to be so much more. You could feel their love even before they knew. This book sucked me in and I couldn't stop reading. This has became one of my top favorite books by this author.

Jackson and Alexa's story is one that I've been waiting for since the last book. And just like Trent and Reese's story, I had so much fun reading theirs (but maybe I liked this one better than that one). I mean yes, it's got married in Vegas trope, but at the same time, it's different than your typical romance with that trope. First, I loved their friendship. They have witty banter and back and forth. And I can already feel the chemistry between them then. I looooved Jackson! I think he's terrific and that he tries to make their marriage work. I don't know why Alexa was resisting it. And this does have the misunderstanding trope at the end and Alexa went with it and run without talking to him. But it was resolved quickly so... it's fine. I still enjoyed it.

Married to the Tight End by Carina Rose, book two in the Never Say Never series is a wonderful, laugh out loud, story about friends to drunkenly married in Vegas, oh my, to lovers who fall in love despite their opposition to marriage. Alexa is busy building her bakery while Jackson is a famous tight end in the NFL; both were badly affected by their parents’ divorces, so both strongly believe marriage isn’t in the plan. That is until, what happened in Vegas follows them home in a publicly huge way. Alexa fears marriage will cause her to lose her independence, forcing her to ask for an annulment, while Jackson vowed if he ever married he would never get divorced; forcing them to stay together. There is a strong magnetic attraction and sizzling chemistry between them despite the twists and turns, as well as unwanted interference causing some major heart break as Jackson and Alexa truly fall in love. Somehow, Jackson and Alexa persevere to find a way to score a win in the end; finding their soul-mate.

Once again, something that is becoming a common occurrence it seems, I just loved this new offering from author Carina Rose! The accidental wedding in Vegas theme was fun and light hearted and the romance throughout the book was just great. I loved getting to see so much of characters I’ve previously fallen in love with (still adore you Trent and Reese), but also getting to dive in deep to Alexa and Jackson. They are so different but I loved their characters and stories too, in a completely different way!
I love Alexa’s personality and unlike my love of Reese because of her football expertise, I found Alexa’s lack of football knowledge refreshing. She’s not dumb in a foolish, schoolgirl pretending-not-to-know way about it, just genuinely has never had enough interest to really learn and is starting at the beginning. I love her excitement when Jackson pulls out the video game of Trent and she’s excited to learn about the “draft thing” Reese is always excited about LOL. I love the joy and exuberance both Alexa and Jackson bring to the book. They both just seem so pure and full of love, despite seeing it not working out well for others in their personal lives. I love that both of them are willing to be vulnerable and honest with each other. I love the chemistry of this book. Overall, I just really enjoyed this story. It was lighthearted, refreshing, and I quickly read through this story not wanting it to be over. I don’t know if there will be any others along this story line, but I can tell you for sure I will be on the lookout for any new books Carina Rose writes. I am a big fan! ❤️

What happened in Vegas follows Alexa and Jackson home in this indulgent romcom by Carina Rose. There's an underlying attraction between Alexa and Jackson, as their best friends are engaged, but neither of them ever acted on it. Besides, she is fiercely independent as a boss babe with no desire to get married, and he only plans on getting married once and is in no place in his life or career to tie the knot.
Except... when they accidentally get married by an Elvis impersonator, Jackson convinces Alexa to stay together until after Reese and Trent's wedding -- and plans to use that time to convince her they are meant to be.
This story is all kinds of sweet and swoony. I laughed at the visual of Jackson sleeping on her couch, and I swooned when he showed up to help out at the bakery. There is some drama that occurs thanks to his horrible father, but it's resolved relatively quickly with a wonderful kiss and make up.

Married to the tight end by Carina Rose is the Second book I've read by this author and it's the second book of the Never say Never football romance series .This story kept me entertained from the beginning as we follow Alexa and Jackson in this wonderful friends to lovers sports romance. This could be read as a standalone however I suggest to read the first of the series Love at the end zone inorder to have a clear understanding of this story. Alexa and Jackson meet when their best friends get together and they go to Vegas to celebrate their engagement. They are the maid of honor and the best man to their friends, after a hilariously funny drunken night they wake up to realise they are married to each other. Jackson is a swoon worthy hero who has quickly become one of my favourite book heroes. Alexa is a strong and independent business woman. She will do anything for the people she cares about.I couldn’t wait for these two to get together, Jackson is an absolute sweetheart. All he wanted was his wife to fall in love with him, and he made her see the wonderful man he was.

I love me a good surprise wedding in Vegas romance and while a lot of those stories have the couple trying not to fall for their spouse, I really appreciated that Jackson and Alexa gave it a good try and we get to see their relationship grow.
Jackson is just perfect, and as far as football players go he’s not exactly what you would expect! I love that they both had developed a good friendship before their drunken Vegas wedding so it’s extra special watching their relationship turn into more. Alexa is feisty and independent, and although I was frustrated with her at the end of the book, she does redeem herself! While this is a closed door romance, it does still have its spicy parts, so I think it’s perfect for those that don’t want to read the details but still enjoy a little steam.
You do not have to have read the first book to enjoy this one, but I’m so glad I did as it was great to catch up with the couple from the first book, Jackson and Alexa’s best friends. This is a light read with some football and laughs!
